Exquisitely Twisted.

Forget awkward scripts and predictable plots, MYSTERY games are immersive social logic puzzles for clever minds and chaotic friends. Each player receives a 'character-clue-sheet' told entirely from their own point of view. No narrator, no boring booklets, just secrets, lies, and one room full of suspicion.
Over one dramatic, discussion-fueled evening, players piece together a rich, nonlinear mystery. Who stole the painting? Who did the killing? Who set the hosue on fire? And in what order did it all unravel?
With no fixed rounds, these stories unfold in real time through instinct, bluffing, deduction, and betrayal.
Think: Logic puzzles meets Gatsby with a knife.

How to play

This game is a group mystery puzzle, where each player takes on the role of a character involved in a strange or criminal event. Some characters may be guilty. Others may be innocent. But everyone has secrets. To solve the mystery, players must talk, ask questions, make accusations, and slowly piece together what really happened.
Important: This is not a simple “find the one killer” type of game. Usually, multiple characters are involved in a larger event. It’s a web of secrets, motives, and actions that the group must work together to untangle.
Think of this as a logic puzzle brought to life, with each player acting as one part of the puzzle. Every player receives private information about their character. You don’t know the whole story — just a small part. But when the group shares clues, the full picture starts to come together.
To solve the mystery, players must:
-
Share clues (or small hints)
-
Ask smart questions
-
Make accusations and defend themselves
-
Lie or bluff (if guilty)
-
Use logic and memory to connect the pieces
~ Logic Puzzle Example ~
Here’s a simple example of how this kind of group mystery works:
Three friends — Alex, Blair, and Casey — attended a dinner party. At the end of the night, a diamond necklace was missing. One of them stole it. Can you figure out who it was?
Clues:
-
Alex wore red
-
Blair wore blue
-
Casey wore green
-
The person who wore blue left early
-
Casey arrived after the person in red
-
The thief did not wear green
-
Alex was not the last to arrive
-
The thief arrived first
Using all the clues, we can figure out that Blair is the thief. Now imagine that each player only had one or two of these clues. You’d have to talk to the others to figure out the full story. That’s exactly how this game works.
During the game
Your job is to figure out:
-
Who committed the main crime?
-
Why did they do it?
-
How was it done?
-
Who else was involved?
-
Who committed other crimes or betrayals?
-
What was the full timeline of events?
To get there:
-
Talk to other characters
-
Ask direct or sneaky questions
-
Accuse, deny, and defend
-
Watch body language and reactions
-
Use logic to put the story together
Lying, bluffing, and misleading are allowed, just like in a real mystery.
Unlike typical murder mystery games, this game has no set rounds. It’s one long, free-flowing discussion full of finger-pointing, tension, and deduction.
The host holds the Master Timeline, which reveals the true story. If the discussion slows down, the host may prompt a player to reveal a clue or push the story forward.
There are no timestamps in your clue sheet. If someone says, “I saw Player 2 arguing with Player 4,” you’ll have to figure out when that happened. Was it before or after Player 1 hid something in Player 2’s bag? That’s part of the mystery.
